  • Anytime Meals: Take 15 to 20 minutes to prepare - include pizza, omelettes, quesadillas, soup and sandwich suppers. Try Zucchini & Red Pepper Frittata? Puffy and golden, oozing with cheese, it’s ready in under 15 minutes. Bean Burritos are another great choice, especially if you have any vegetarians in the family.
  • Quick Fixes: Ready in 30 minutes or less — these meals range from gingery chicken and homemade macaroni & cheese to salmon cakes and Spanish rice with lentils. Try Szechuan Beef & Mandarin Orange Stir-Fry with Rice
  • Make and Bakes: Prepare in 20 minutes or less but bake for 15 to 75 minutes. Enjoy crispy chicken fingers, grilled minted lamb chops, tuna noodle casserole. Baked Turkey Enchiladas can be made a day ahead, and are perfect for hungry guests, starving teens or a potluck supper.
  • Make Ahead Meals: Prepare in 30 minutes or less. Make ahead and pop in freezer for a ready made meal another day. Cabbage roll casserole, hearty chili or shepherd’s pie are some delicious choices. Pizza Pockets are a real kid-pleaser. The dough freezes well, and kids can easily make their own pizza pockets.

What about dessert? Get part of your fruit quota from baked rice pudding, baked apples or fruity Pear Crisp, a fast-to-assemble treat with a bonus—leftovers make a healthy breakfast topped with yogurt!

Each menu includes a shopping list, nutrient analysis (calories, protein, fat, carbohydrates, fibre, sodium, potassium, vitamins and minerals), food guide servings and helpful tips.
